Day 5- It hurts to breath, sit, stand, or pick anything up.

It hurts to breath, sit, stand, or pick anything up.

I'm pretty sure I'm Dying

Morning:

Let me tell you. I haven't felt this sore all over in YEARS. I had to half scoot-half fall down the steps because my neither my legs nor my arms seemed to be working. Despite the soreness all over I feel good.
Here's why- I am actually putting the work in, and the way I hurt all over is proof. I haven't looked at the scale. I haven't taken measurements. I can feel that I am working my body to its limit and I think for today that is bringing me more satisfaction than a scale or measuring tape could.

Food:

Today has been the best food day by far! I might be delirious but I think since starting the 21 day fix I have inadvertently done a palate cleanse. Is that a thing? I think that's a thing.
Everything I have eaten today I tasted.
I mean when I put something in my mouth I tasted flavors in the food that I never noticed before because I was masking it with butter or salt.
For example: I baked a chicken breast with no seasoning on it. When I bit into I noticed that chicken is actually pretty salty! WEIRD (then I googled why chicken is salty and that led to me learning a lot of stuff I didn't want to know about the chicken I just ate that I thought was healthy)

Note to self: Stop googling everything you think of.

On a side note: The government is not going to make everyone get a Microchip by 2017. I looked it up to make sure.

Back to food...
I bought (frozen) black eyed peas at the store because I couldn't remember if I liked them or not. So I made this recipe and it was actually FANTASTIC!

What I changed:
Instead of water and bouillon I just used 1c low fat low sodium chicken stock. ( I didn't need as much liquid since my  peas were frozen not completely dehydrated)
I used 1 medium fresh tomato instead of canned. and crushed it myself
I used 1/2 Small onion
I used fresh ginger about 1tsp
I didn't have any fresh parsley.

I followed the directions on the back of the bag of frozen peas to cook them using 1/2c of the chicken stock and the rest water.

I only let it simmer until the onions and tomatoes were stewed. About 30-35 mins. (only because the peas were frozen not dehydrated)

Cardio Fix:
Kicked my butt.  If I were keeping score... which i'm not it would be Cardio Fix:1 Lindsay:0
Cat was basically my BFF about 3/4 of the way through. I feel like her and I have the same body type and I give her major props because she was killin it. I mean I was dead. I even paused the video for a quick minute because I could not catch my breath.
Quote of the video:

"You gotta do the work you don't lose 35 pounds by sitting on the couch"
